Ceramic coating after Care
Post application
The importance of after care is often under looked. To make things easier, here is a brief summary to help understand the post application nuances of having a ceramic coating applied.
washing
- 1-2 weeks with no wash. Allows for ceramic to cure and harden.
- Wash at least every 2-3 weeks
- Pre rinse vehicle with water only
- Use a pH nuetral foam soap, let dwell for 1-2 minutes so dirt can properly break down.
- Rinse soap
- Wash with 2-bucket method or Multiple plush microfiber towels and use a new side each panel. This will help reduce marring paint.
- Dry with air or hand dry with little to no pressure to reduce marring paint.
- Apply Sio2 based paint protection as a topper to help protect ceramic coatings endurance.
ceramic coating Maintenance
- Decontamination wash is critical every 2-6 months. This will removed all embedded contamination that your washes may have not picked up on.
- Scratched your paint? No problem as there is always an option of using an Sio2 polish to remove surface induced marring.
Tips

Plush and clean dedicated microfiber towels are a must to avoid any chances of marring paint
- plumbers putty if needed to remove embedded contamination. (be cautious as there is always risk for marring paint.
- Kl!n Korea microfibers are the best in the industry. I advise getting a dedicated towel for drying, a mitt for washing, and a dedicated sealant application towel.
